All miniature portrait paintings that are represented here were collected by
Dr. Jacob Gestman Geradts, (Catholic university of Leuven)
Dr. Gestman Geradts is specialised in 16th century art, cartography and also
miniature portraits. He proudly gave his name to this collection.

His goal is to promote this almost forgotten art of miniature portrait painting.
Therefor a CGG-logo has been designed that guarantees the authenticity of the work.
Each work is carefully photographed, measured, otherwise examined, quality checked and numbered,
so that it will remain a part of our common cultural heritage.
