The elephant

Once a great sculptor was asked for the secret of his vocation. The sculptor answered in a very logical way: "There isn't any secret. For instance: if you would like to sculpt an elephant, you have to remove every piece of stone which makes it look less like an elephant.
To Jacob this answer is more than a joke. It is the truth in a clear, logical and convincing way and he started to work exactly by the rules laid out by the sculptor whos name he has forgotten.
