Jacob and photography
Jacob makes drawings since 1991, after having tried to make paintings, like this three paneled one here, his first work (1988)
But he preferred drawing and started to make portraits in colour-pencil

Jacob's models
To make his drawings, Jacob uses photos. He often shoots them himself, normally a hundred photos for one work. He uses only the best ones:
His models are between 18 and 28 years old.
The majority pose for the first time, like Liset,
aged 22, student.
